As a Senior Data Engineer you will:
- Play a big and collaborative role in the company.
- Be part of designing and implementing server-side services to ingest, organise, analyse, and display real estate data and insight.
- Design data warehouse solutions to support ETL processes and data analytics applications and drive our data platform and help evolve our technology stack and development best practices.
- Be part of a small team and be a real partner in the design and implementation of all aspects of our product.
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Have 8+ years of commercial experience working with Data
- Have hands-on Cloud/DataOps experience
- Love to develop and implement ETL processes
- Have strong experience in database technologies and data warehousing
- Are highly proficient with Python and worked with it beyond just writing ETLs
- Have commercial experience with Javascript
- Have experience with workflow orchestrators (e.g., Airflow) and how to scale them (e.g., Celery, Kubernetes executors, etc)
- Have experience with service-oriented architecture and a good understanding of distributed systems, data stores, data modeling, and indexing
- Have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and large-scale distributed storage and database systems
- Are independent and self-driven person that enjoy challenging themselves by taking ownership of new features and capabilities.
- Have got good conversational and written English
Bonus points if you:
- Have hands-on GraphQL experience
- Have experience with React
- Are familiar with open source search and analytics solutions like Elasticsearch
- Have hands-on BI software like Looker
- Are excited to have the early-stage startup experience
